Ichneumonoidae Araştırma Grubu

       Türkiye’deki Parazitoit arıcıkları belirlemeye yönelik yapılan çalışmalarda özellikle Braconidae ve Ichneumonidae (Hymenoptera: Ichneumonoidae) familyalarına ait türlerin taksonomisi çalışılmıştır. Bu çalışmalar Türkiye’nin tüm coğrafik bölgelerine ait verileri içermektedir. Saptanan türlerin, Türkiye ve genel coğrafi dağılımları verilerek zoocoğrafik dağılımları tartışılmıştır. Ichneumonoidae türleri özellikle Lepidoptera, Coleoptera,  Diptera ve Heteroptera takımları üzerinde endo- ve ektoparazitoidlerdir. Bu yüzden bu grubun üyeleri zararlı böcekler için önemli bir potansiyel biyolojik mücadele etmenidirler.
